I’ve been implementing AI processes across all of our ventures and just used the new Claude Design tool to built an entire brand design system for our parent company Growth Science Capital Holdings. The design system, which would have taken a week (at least) as my past graphic designer self, took around 15 minutes and looked solid.
So what can you actually DO with a good design system??

1 –> I uploaded our old website content, our new mission & values, gave it the structure that we wanted, and it generated our new website prototype in a matter of minutes.
2 –> I transferred the prototype to Claude Code, made some final tweaks and the website was online within a couple of hours.
3 –> Later that same afternoon I used the design system to create a slide deck for a talk I gave last night. While it would have been possible to present right from inside Claude Design it needed some more refinement and the app felt a little clunky so I exported it to Google Slides and made the final touches.
Looking ahead, these experiments represent the early stages of far more streamlined creation processes for our web content, presentation decks, and proposal generation for our entire portfolio of companies. In time these will be integrated into agentic structures that we’re just beginning to outline and will spread across the entire organization. In relatively short order, existing five person companies will be able to function as 50 person companies. At the same time (if well implemented) output will be higher quality, job satisfaction will improve as the mundane aspects of our work get offloaded to our AI assistants, and the potential impact our ventures can make on the world will expand.
If you’re not thinking about how AI will impact your current role you’re doing a disservice to your future self. Start mapping out your workflows and seeing how AI can help you. If you’re focusing too much on negative, sensational news headlines, or how the technology was LAST year, your wasting time that you could be learning and playing with the tools. Instead, be curious.
There’s never been a better time to conjure anything you want to create. So they question isn’t HOW to make it any more, it’s WHAT do you want to make in the first place? AI can take the tedious work off our plates and enable us to focus on our innate human gifts such as empathy and creativity.
So the next time you interact with AI, use it as a collaborator: Start with the outcome you want and ask it how it can help you achieve it. Then see what you can create together because then, like working with any great brainstorm partner, the end result might just be better than you even imagined 🙂
