Dougie worked directly with Cross Campus‘ CEO to refine both the member and team experience, with a special focus given to the launch of our second location in Old Pasadena. As interim Senior Community Manager he was part of the core launch team as well as assembling and managing the location team which included interviewing and hiring another community manager, a receptionist, two baristas and sourcing and overseeing a crew of handymen and contractors. As part of the launch strategy he produced a handful or 100+ person Mindshare LA events to help promote both Santa Monica and Pasadena locations to potential new members.
After ensuring that Pasadena was up and running Dougie delegated management to the full time team and returned to Santa Monica HQ to focus on Cross Campus’ third location, planned to launch in 2016 in Downtown Los Angeles. For downtown, Dougie worked closely with the design and architecture team to make sure insights from our first two locations made it into the design plans.
After a great year working with the team, Dougie returned to a consultant position working with their internal events team on event concepts to be held across Cross Campus locations… To be continued!
