Rounding out the week running two local machines, and two remote VPS boxes, while also testing a friend’s small mini-computer dongle prototype… That’s FIVE machines! I’m building automations programmatically, provisioning Linux box, and creating an agentic platform for my company that would’ve cost tens of thousands of dollars and months of back-and-forth a few years ago. It’s also saving us thousands a month in subscriptions, because the tools we built fit our processes better anyway. In other words, it never would have happened under normal circumstances.
If you told me six month’s ago that would be where I find myself today — before I’d ever touched GitHub or built much more than Elementor WordPress, Make.com automations, Figma mockups, and low code apps — and I’d have said you were insane.
Now I’m pulling on all of it: 20 years of product design, web, branding, marketing, automations, and SMB set ups… Into a consulting framework for clients who want to streamline their workflows with fully custom platforms.
Every week I meet with people at the forefront of their fields — developers, designers, entrepreneurs, creatives who are uplevelling their skills by collaborating with AI. And every day their capabilities are compounding.
If you’re not at least curious about how to use these tools day to day, you’re going to have a hard time competing with the people in your field who are.
You don’t need five computers. You don’t even need to understand a lot of the words I said. You just need curiosity and a willingness to learn something new.
