Vibe Coding for Kids & Non-Coders & AI Resources

I’ve been working hard at my new job AND at my new hobby of “vibe coding”. I now have TWO open source projects which some of you might enjoy exploring:

  • Dougie’s Game HubA variety of game experiments, including a world builder in which at you can build 3D scenes ...and then play games in them!
  • Freshbase SaaS Kit: This is the repurposable tech stack I have assembled. WAY better than starting from scratch! I wrote the documentation to be as beginner friendly as possible.

ALSO if you have holiday travel time you might be interested in my favorite AI related podcasts… Or maybe not! Either way, you’re getting them:

  • The Artificial Intelligence ShowBusiness focused, practical, accessible. I’ve followed these guys for a long time and it’s great for anyone who wants to get high level familiarity with what’s happening and how AI is changing business (and life!).
  • AI for HumansMore on the entertaining side, a little edgy but still very informative. Great as audio only, although there’s a fun video version which is entertaining and shows actual use cases.
  • BONUS: The RAIZOR Report …My 99% fully automated podcast (!!). OK, it’s not going to win any podcast awards but it remains a cool ongoing experiment. Mini versions go out on weekdays with my cloned voice (dry but informative) and the better quality Weekend Wrap Up which is all the week’s AI news inputted into NotebookLM and outputted as a two person podcast!

OK, that’s all for now. Enjoy your well deserved break :))
