In a recent essay (if it’s too long for you, I made a this mini podcast out of it), Anthropic’s CEO Dario Amodei argues that most people underestimate the potential benefits of powerful AI, and he explores how this technology could radically improve human life in five key areas: biology and health, neuroscience and mental health, economic development and poverty, peace and governance, and work and meaning. Sounds pretty good to me!
